Dr. Rochelle Woods graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago School of Medicine. She received training at Brown University in both neurology and psychology with a focus on dementia and cognitive disorder diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Woods also received training in cognitive and behavioral neurology and geriatric psychiatry at UCLA and the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center.
Dr. Woods was an assistant professor at UCLA where she taught geriatric psychiatry and behavioral neurology. She has participated in peer review research throughout her career. Over the past 9 years, Dr. Woods held positions as the Medical Director of the Memory Clinic and Chief of Adult Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente Medical in San Jose. Dr. Woods is an avid proponent of health in the African American community and actively promotes health initiatives within the Kaiser Permanente system and the community.
